I love to learn, and I love to teach even more. I became a tutor at a community college in 2012. Working at a community college, I realize and understand that most students struggle to make time for studying. As a result, I am very flexible.
I graduated from Sinclair College with an Associate's Degree of Liberal Arts and Sciences in 2013 and I have also received an Associate's Degree of Mathematics in 2015. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree of Math Education at Wright State University.
My methods of tutoring range based on the needs of the student. My preferred method is to give "mini-lectures" using a whiteboard to illustrate examples. In my history of tutoring, I have found that the majority of students are visual learners, so I find this method to be most beneficial. I also like to watch my students work out problems so that I may learn where their weaknesses lie, then work to improve them.
I am a very practical and modern tutor, and welcome texting as a primary method of communication with my students.
