I was previously a 5th grade teacher and also taught middle level math to 7th graders. I love teaching and try to make learning enjoyable for all students! I think differentiating instruction is integral to students' learning as all students learn differently. Building relationships is also key for students to trust me as a teacher and be invested in what I am wanting them to learn.
I think learning should occur for everyone and love to learn myself. I enjoy traveling to learn about different cultures. I am an avid reader and enjoy all types of literature, but mostly fiction. I love cooking and entertaining friends and family. I love spending time with my family, which includes my husband and baby boy, as well as my dog, Riley. We enjoy going to the park, going to sporting events and other cultural events, as well as going on vacation, especially the beach.
