Hello, I am very excited to be able to work with your child! Teaching has always been a passion of mine since I was in a little child. I love that I can help another person become successful in their future. Teaching is something that is in my blood.

I am a native of Arizona. I graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelors Degree in Education in 2002. I have been teaching for 12 years. One of my goals in life was to always go back to school to get my masters degree. I wanted the younger generation in family to see that they can always do the things that they set in mind to do. After teaching for 10 years I did decide to go back to school. I got my Masters Degree from Grand Canyon University in Educational Leadership. I have transitioned from teaching in the classroom, to helping others become successful teachers.

Even though I am not in the classroom teaching, I still enjoy the small opportunities that I get. The most important thing for me is make sure that every child had the right person to help them be successful!

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

My philosophy is that every child can be successful with support from others.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

One way that I would help a student stay motivated is by encouraging them to always do their best.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?

I would try to reteach the concept or skill in a different way that will help the student build confidence in themselves. I would use manipulatives, videos, etc.
