Learning is a lifelong pursuit: a pursuit filled with cycles of frustration and satisfaction, eureka moments and "why me" moments, hours spent in libraries or coffee shops, days spent pondering what would've happened if Alexander Fleming had cleaned his petri dishes before his holiday, and a lifetime to experience it all. I believe that every person has the intrinsic will and ability to learn whatever they wish to. With the countless sources of information we have access to now, it's hard to find a topic that isn't covered and available at your fingertips. However; learning is a journey and sometimes it's hard to start that journey by yourself. Maybe years of coursework has worn you down and discouraged your once fiery passion to learn, but I hope to help you rediscover that passion.

I'm currently an undergraduate student at the University of Rochester hoping to double major in Molecular Genetics & International Relations, on a premed track. I've been tutoring my younger sister (7 years my junior) since she could talk: I remember setting up my own daycare in order to teach her the alphabet and basic words before she was able to enter preschool. Since then I've helped her through countless assignments and tests in various subjects like math, english, social studies, and science. In high school, I took as many APs and accelerated courses as I could: AP Biology, AP US History, AP Psychology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP European History, AP English Language & Composition, AP Calculus BC, AP English Literature & Composition, AP US Government, and AP Macroeconomics. During my 4 years of high school I participated in my school's after school tutoring program where I tutored students with learning disabilities. I love helping people and live for those moments when everything suddenly clicks in a student's brain. That's not to say that I know everything, because I certainly have a lot to learn myself, but hopefully I can assist with any academic problems you may have, and who's to say I won't learn a few things from my students as well?
