My success in life started with a passionate Math teacher, and the love of mathematics took me all the way to be ranked among 0.1% in standardized exams and Olympiads. Now playing with Math and Physics problems feels as entertaining to me as sports for the brain. As an undergrad, Masters and PhD student and then a researcher I have been solving advanced Physical and Mathematical problems for a long time and have been exposed to all kinds of complexities that the students may encounter.
Since 2004 I have been tutoring high school and undergraduate students. In Math, I specialize in Calculus, Differential Equations and Math section of GRE. In Physics and Mechanical Engineering, I specialize in Statics, Dynamics (motion), waves, Fluid Mechanics and Nonlinear Dynamics.
When my student has hardship in a topic of Mathematics or Physics, my method includes helping the student to rediscover the solution by her/himself. This means she/he starts from the simple and well-known rules of the subject and with subtle hint will be able to derive the more complex solution. This is teaching to fish that is a lifetime gift rather than giving a fish that is only sufficient for the particular occasion.
I'm available for tutoring all day weekends, and on weekdays after 5:30 PM or before 9 AM. First hour will be free, if not satisfactory. You young students: your creativity and curiosity can take you anywhere you wish.
