I am a third year mathematics and computer science major at Hunter College. I love learning about and teaching math and I hope I can share my enthusiasm with you to help you succeed in the classroom!
I have worked as Professor’s Assistant where I conducted independently weekly reviews where we would discuss the most challenging material from the lectures. I think I am a great tutor because I am very patient and can translate complicated concepts into manageable pieces. I am against memorizing mathematical formulas and I strongly believe that deeper understanding of the subject material is much more efficient in helping students meet their academic goals and build their confidence and interest in the subject.
When I am not tutoring, I love to stay active and ride my bike throughout the city. I am originally from Poland.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
My approach to learning mathematics focuses on intuitive understanding of the material. I want my students to grasp the idea behind any theorem or formula. I am against memorization and I believe that solid and deep recognition of the basic principles is the best way to build your mathematical knowledge.
