I am a Junior working towards my B.S in Neuroscience at the University of California, Los Angeles. I aspire to pursue a career in medicine after graduation with the hopes of becoming an M.D. My past experience working with students ranges from academics to martial arts. I have experience tutoring students in one-on-one sessions, as well as leading and engaging in group discussions with my peers and colleagues. I have been formally trained in Krav Maga; after five years of instruction, I then became an assistant instructor for children ranging in ages from elementary to middle school . My tutoring abilities mainly revolve around science and mathematics (STEM), but I also have interest in history and psychology. My teaching style can best be described as flexible; I am able to tailor my methods to students with any range of background knowledge and understanding of material - every student will receive a personalized approach.
