I have always felt that there is no one way to an answer and that, even for Mathematics, there is a multitude of ways to get to an answer. Everyone thinks differently since we are all different people which means that what works for one person doesn't work for everyone. This is where I strive as a tutor. I am able to show the students many different ways to solve a problem if they are having troubles with a certain method. I have been a tutor for almost 2 years now at my university where I have had to tutor students of many different levels. The key is to knowing that Mathematics is not everyone's natural talent but to instill confidence in the student so that they know that they can achieve more than what they believe.
