Throughout my experience tutoring, be it as a volunteer or private tutor, I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of finding a way to help each individual student understand the concepts they are trying to master. In almost all cases, this has meant not only finding useful teaching devices that cater to each student’s learning style, but also dealing with the extra-academic aspects of learning.
The excitement I get from adapting to this diversity of student needs, along with my passion for helping students excel, have always made tutoring a great job for me. I am a GMAT tutor because I feel I’m now in a position to help prospective business school students with their challenges. The experience of preparing for the test taught me a lot of lessons about how to handle both the content-based and psychological-based hurdles that the GMAT presents. Moreover, I hope that my year and a half at Haas so far will make me a great resource for students beyond the test itself.
Looking forward to meeting my future students!
