I am currently in my second semester of Graduate School at NC State. I am studying Elementary Education. I received my under graduate degree from Brevard College, where I played four years of DIV II Women's Tennis. I am an avid runner, and I love the outdoors. I enjoy teaching and learning. I love working with students because I feel I am helping them learn and grow just as much as they are helping me. I strive to learn something new everyday so I can improve and grow as a life long student.
I tutor elementary math, reading and phonics as well as english, study skills and homework support/ organizational skills.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe in teaching students to grow through hard work. Every student can be the best student as long as they work hard and are ready to learn!
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Each learner is different and unique. Each first session will have similarities, but will address the specific needs of the learner. The first session is the MOST important so that I can get to know your learner as a whole.
