I work to create the pathway. I guide and support. I educate.
Throughout my life and career, I have been an educator. I have supported and assisted others in learning during my own school years and in my choices in work and recreation. As a young girl I rode and trained horses and instructed riders beginning with western riding, rodeo and drill team and culminating in the international levels of dressage as an adult. As a young adult, I worked in different departments of business and then trained others in the business so that they could understand all aspects and become more proficient in order to advance.
I have learned languages spoken, written, scientific, and mathematical (including computer languages). In experiencing the methods by which they are learned and studying how I and others gain each specific piece in the scaffolding of subjects and languages, I, in turn, am able to explain and help others make those same correlations using their respective mental processes.
Navigating my career in education, I have experienced learning from study and from teaching all levels and ages, from kindergarten through college-age and adults, from the classroom to the corporate environment. As I work with each individual, I learn from each one how that person’s mind best acquires knowledge so that I can help each one construct a path to his/her specific goal.
