I received a Bachelors of Psychology from California State University Northridge, graduating in 2014 with Scholastic Achievement. I loved every moment of school as there was so much to learn about. The subject areas I'm most interested include: Math, Psychology, Sociology, Ancient Civilizations and Computer Programming. When I'm not tutoring, I spend my time learning, reading, playing video games, hiking, enjoying the city and going to shows with my favorite bands.
My tutoring experience began with my two siblings. Through their elementary and junior high years, I worked with them on their assignments and preparing for tests. I found that working with them was very rewarding and came naturally to me. They are now doing exceptionally well in High school currently as a Freshman and Junior.
I have always enjoyed learning and my goal is to pass my excitement to my students. I'm currently working at a tutoring center that provides math-specific tutoring. While I'm most comfortable with math tutoring, I'm interested in helping with study skills, Essay writing, and psychology as well.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that practice, patience and most importantly, confidence building are the best way to master the understanding of a topic. Confidence building is crucial as it strengthens critical thinking; staying away from the problems memorization can cause.
