I am a summa cum laude graduate of Illinois State University, which shows my dedication, my love of learning, and my strive to succeed. Along with graduating with a 4.0 g.p.a., I was a teacher's assistant, research assistant, a published co-author on my research findings, and an active volunteer in the Best Buddies Program.
As shown through my work as a professor's assistant, I enjoy helping others learn and succeed. Creating a fun, positive environment is essential in helping a student gain knowledge and retain the material. Seeing students reach their goals is a rewarding experience. I look forward to helping students strive for their goals and see their test scores improve.
I try to be flexible with time and understand that nights and weekends are a prime time for tutoring. I will offer makeup classes as well.
Math is a subject I am passionate about. I love solving mathematical problems and enjoy seeing a student find the solution to what was once a difficult problem. I am also available to tutor students in the subjects of English, reading, psychology and French.
As a psychology major, I understand that each student learns in different ways, with individual needs and goals. Learning environment is important, so I am happy to travel to a location that meets the student's needs.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success in your studies!
