Having been a tutor since the beginning of high school, I pride myself in my patience and flexibility. For the past year I tutored for an average of 4 hours per week and worked around the schedule of my students, despite being a full time student and balancing various extracurricular activities. Throughout my sessions I stay patient with my student and break down the subject to the most minuscule details until they can firmly master it.
During sessions, my goal is to not simply cram the skills into the student's mind but introduce it to him/her in a manner that will reside with the student for the foreseeable future. Thus, enabling him/her to have a firm basis when taking courses in the future that demand mastery of such skills.
