I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008, majoring in History with concentrations in Classical Studies and European Studies. I also graduated the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2011. I developed a passion for mock trial in high school which spurred me into wanting to be an attorney. During my undergraduate studies I was an officer and Moot Court team captain for an organization which sought to increase diversity in law school and in the legal profession as a whole. While history and law became my primary areas of focus, I am always working to make myself well-rounded in terms of expanding my knowledge in the sciences, mathematics, and Spanish; the search for knowledge is not confined to one discipline, no matter where you are in life.
As an attorney it can sometimes be hard to find the time to give back and enrich the community, and then I saw the opportunity at Varsity Tutors to use my knowledge to help others navigate through the academic life and prepare them for the real world challenges that lie ahead. Whether a student is passionate about the area in which they need help or is looking to get through a required course so they can get back to their passions, I am determined to work with my students to accomplish their goals and do so in an friendly, funny, and productive way.
