From middle school to my two years of service in underserved areas with the AmeriCorps, I have always been tutoring and teaching my peers, students, and patient of all ages. Higher education is extremely important to me as I graduated in 2013 from UC Irvine studying chemistry and biology. With that said, I have the intention of studying medicine in the near future. I plan to continue teaching hopefully as a professor one day due to my passion of narrowing the educational access gap for all!
I love working with people and am very friendly, patient, and kind. I believe everyone has the ability to connect and understand new material no matter how difficult the subject matter is. It just takes time, hard work, and the right guidance to get people there. I hope to be that right guidance for students as I use multiple learning styles such as visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic learning to help students truly grasp the material. All the while having fun and being relevant, but being serious at the same time!
