Tutor| Mentor| Creative
Versatile, dedicated student advocate with extensive experience with multi-cultural community organizing and instruction at the elementary, community college, and university levels.
My specialties are in Writing, English, Language Arts and Reading. I have over 8+ years experience with kids in Public Schools, Day Care and Educational settings.
I also work with adults as a Writing Consultant at the community college level for 4+ years. I have also worked with university students for over 5 years.
I find evaluating the skill and level of each writer is beneficial in assisting students with learning disabilities, English as a Second Language (ESL) students and those taking coursework unspecific to their field of study.
Focusing on the needs of each person by session, I am able to align writers with easy and useful strategies for their academic, professional and creative work.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
Understanding a student's expectations for our sessions , discovering their ideal learning environment and, lastly, deciding on which methods of learning (learning strategies) they respond best to. These methods have been highly beneficial. Developing a plan for my auditory, kinesthetic, and visual learners involves amplifying and restructuring their practices for improved results beyond our time together.
