I am currently a senior pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I have tutoring experience from when I was a medic in the Army, and I have taught levels of math within college. I mostly work with older students, 16 and above, but that's due to the subject areas I teach. I believe in finding the ROOT of the problem, especially in algebra and other mathematics. What are we looking for? How are YOU approaching this problem? When we can identify the general way in which we process and problem solve, new methods can be incorporated, so that math is no longer a chore but a mystery in which we can get excited about!
