I am a graduate from CU Boulder's school of Journalism, however I did not intend this major when I set off for college. I struggled through 2.5 years of science classes and changed my major 3 times before I settled on advertising. I am now 26 and back in school to pursue Med School and am getting As in the science classes I barely passed. I understand the frustrations that comes with learning, but I also know that there is always more than way to teach.. anything. Everyone has a different learning style, and through years of personal learning challenges, teaching English, and using communication as a primary skill in recent jobs, I have become attuned to the learning style of the student and have adapted various teaching approaches for differing needs.
