My mission as your tutor is to help you develop the tools to tackle your writing tasks with confidence. I have worked with hundreds of students from across the world and have helped them with all varieties of writing, from research papers and college/grad school application essays to opinion papers and creative writing. I am confident that I can give you some techniques that will encourage you to approach your writing in a fresh way and enable you to produce work that you are proud of. In addition, I have several years of experience teaching college-level writing skills and English as a Second Language (ESL), so I am well-versed at helping students of all skill levels improve their writing.
In addition to teaching writing, I am also happy to work with you on topics related to English and American Literature, public speaking, presentations and/or ESL.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
I think of myself as a facilitator. My job as a tutor is to help you accomplish your goals by giving you the tools that will facilitate your success!
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In a first session, I would first talk to the student about his or her goals for our time together. I would try to make sure that both the student and I understand what we want to accomplish, and then begin our work.
