My family moved to Minnesota in 1992 from Minsk, Belarus. After I graduated from Osseo Senior High School, I enlisted in the US Army and served for 14 months. My military career met a quick ending due to injury, but it gave me the opportunity to attend and graduate from the University of Minnesota. I earned my B.A. in Political Science in 2014. Throughout my life I've traveled extensively, including France, Italy, India, Belarus, Russia, and Czech Republic. Most recently, I spent 5 months studying and working in Jerusalem, Israel.
I am currently back at the University of Minnesota, pursuing a Masters of Education. My academic interests outside of Political Science include US History, Mythology, and Civil Rights. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, video games and exploring the city on my bike.
