I graduated from The College of William and Mary in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Psychology. I have tutored for 6 years, through both my high school Beta Club chapter and college fraternity. Being a tutor is something that comes naturally; I really enjoy sharing knowledge and building in my students a foundation for lifelong learning. My areas of expertise are writing and reading, history, social sciences, and geometry. If I had to pick a favorite, I’d say reading; when I help a student with comprehension, they gain a little more appreciation and enjoyment of academics. My teaching philosophy is student-centered and gradual. I try to show the student they can accomplish anything, given a steady pace and work ethic. In my free time, I try to read widely, eat eclectically, jog, and watch good films.
