I am a fourth year student completing my bachelor's degree in Political Science at University of California - Davis. I am preparing to attend law school in the fall and hope to work in public policy. I have a wide variety of experiences in tutoring, from elementary school to high school, and even editing college-level essays. I have a strong background in the study of government and politics, reading skills, writing, English, and history. In my free time, I love to play sports, especially softball, which I have been playing since the age of five. I even played for the NCAA Division 1 team at UC Davis during my freshman year, and continue to play for the Women's Club Softball Team on campus. Additionally, I like to listen to music, dance, and read novels. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you in your academic achievements through tutoring!

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that in order to be a good teacher, one must give their students the ability to do and think for themselves. I strive to help my students find the right answer for themselves rather than feeding them the answer. That way, they can be successful the next time they have a similar question or problem to tackle without my help.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would get to know them and their interests. I would try to analyze their strengths so that I could personalize our session to best tutor them and help them achieve their goals.
