I am a firm believer in lifelong learning, and I push myself to continue to learn and grow as much as the students I tutor. I have been fortunate enough to attend several major universities, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Montana in 2010 and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from Oregon State University in 2012. In the past few years, I have worked as a graduate teaching assistant first at Oregon State and then U.C. Davis, teaching courses in political science and research methodology.
As a tutor, I strive to go beyond simply covering the material and work with students to develop a system for success. Whether a student needs help developing study skills, completing homework, preparing an essay, or studying and preparing for standardized tests, I work closely with students to develop the habits and routines necessary to be successful. Whatever the subject area, I will arrive to our session well prepared and ready to help you or your student succeed.
I'm a naturally inquisitive person, and in my spare time I enjoy playing board games and solving puzzles.
