I hold dual bachelor’s degrees from UC San Diego in literature/writing and Italian studies, and I earned a Master of Professional Writing from the University of Southern California this past May. As an undergraduate, I studied abroad in Rome, Italy; Lund, Sweden; and Bologna, Italy. Learning Italian was difficult and often humbling, but it provided me with a greater understanding of language and a newfound patience for students in all stages of their learning journeys. I am most passionate about helping others find their voices and communicate their ideas clearly, whether they are writing a term paper or crafting a short story. When I am not working on my debut novel, I enjoy reading, golfing, playing tennis, and editing the poetry section of an independent literary magazine.
