I graduated form Stanford University last year with a degree in Sociology, and I currently work at a shelter for people struggling with mental illness and homelessness in Seattle. I hope to pursue a career as a social worker in high schools. I love to read, write, cook, and hang out with my friends and family.
I've worked with students all my life, and I love teaching, especially in reading and writing. I really believe that reading and writing are vital to clear communication and that being a good, clear communicator is important both professionally and personally. I also believe in reliability, creativity, and collaboration in tutoring sessions, and I hope to use those values while teaching to help students through more difficult subject areas at school.
