Currently, I am a student attending Cosumnes River College pursuing Associate's Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science; I plan on transferring to UC Santa Cruz to pursue a Bachelor's in Physics with specialization in Astrophysics and possibly a Bachelor's in Computer Science as well before eventually going for a Ph.D in Physics.
I've worked at the CRC Math Center for the past two years tutoring students of varying backgrounds in all levels of mathematics offered, from Arithmetic to Differential Equations and Statistics. I love tutoring Mathematics over other subjects as it's one of the few subjects where answers are generally concrete and it has many applications that make for great examples. My goal and style with tutoring is getting the student to not just learn how to do a problem, but to understand the problem so they can apply that understanding to other challenges.
In my free time I enjoy learning languages, discovering new bands to listen to and watching Japanese anime (in addition to things like programming and teaching myself higher math). Even though I'm very STEM oriented, many of my interests lie outside of STEM fields as well.
