I have recently finished my Master's Degree in Mathematics from Montana State University in Bozeman. Shortly thereafter I moved back to Colorado. I am excited to continue helping students understand and master the far reaching and deep subject, Math. I am particularly pleased to participate in personal and online tutoring which will individualize the teaching/learning experience and provide the most direct way towards understanding fundamental ideas and concepts vital to succeed in any Mathematics course. Other interests of mine include a passion for the outdoors, wherein I enjoy backcountry skiing during the winter, and rock climbing during the summer. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience to guide one's road to academic success.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

I would help by making sure the student receives feedback, which reinforces understanding and progress towards goals.

How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?

A lot of practice, and a variety of examples, some even in addition to what is presented in school and their textbook.
