### Josh

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Mathematics with a minor in Religious Studies. I received my Master of Arts in Biblical Languages, with a concentration in Hebrew, from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. Previously, I have tutored graduate students and adults in Biblical Hebrew, as well as high school students in algebra, geometry, and calculus. I have also volunteered with an after-school tutoring program for struggling students at a local grade school. I tutor Mathematics (ranging from Algebra through Calculus), as well as English, Religious Studies, and my personal favorite, Biblical Hebrew. I also help students develop skills and prepare for standardized tests, including the GRE. There are very few things in life that give me more joy than witnessing the "aha!" moments when a student gains new insight. As an instructor, I readily adapt to the learning styles of my students and emphatically encourage questions. In my free time, I enjoy bicycling, singing with a choir, and skipping rocks on the lakefront.
