I completed my premedical undergraduate education at Texas Woman’s University. There, I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors. I worked for my University's Science Learning Resource Center, tutoring biology, anatomy and physiology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and social sciences.
I subsequently did a post baccalaureate research internship at the National Institutes of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Currently I am in my 4th year of medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Throughout my medical training I have gained extensive teaching experience. I have taught high school, undergraduate students, medical students, and colleagues.
I love to learn and teach, and I hope to share my enthusiasm with every one of my students.
In addition to my academic and professional interests, I enjoy reading, cooking, movies and fitness
