I recently received my Master's degree in Physics from SDSU and have been tutoring and teaching at the college level for 10+ years now.
I can tutor any level of math for the Engineering/Hard Science track from high school algebra up to and including differential equations. I have experience with pre- algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, college algebra, pre calculus, differential calculus, integral calculus, vector calculus, applied calculus, differential equations, and applied math. I also have experience with introductory calculus or non calculus based physics courses such as mechanics or electricity and magnetism.
I also help with test prep (GMAT, GRE, CBEST, SAT, ACT) and teach general test taking strategies and techniques in order to improve your score.

Assess where they are at and their expectations, then lay out a roadmap to fulfill those expectations.

Show them how to properly utilize the resources they have available.

Take a step back and try to explain things in terms of something that the student can directly relate to.
