As an enthusiastic tutor, I am determined to provide the tools and skills necessary for each student to excel. Graduating from U.S. News & World Report’s No. 1 Regional University in the West, Trinity University, I feel confident that I can help prepare my students for whatever they may need.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and Art History in pursuit of a career in Art Conservation. With two completely different majors, I have learned how to approach problems in many different ways. I truly believe that no one method is the best for solving problems and learning concepts. Instead, it really depends on the student and how they learn best. Because I am able to look at problems with both an analytical and liberal arts mindset, I believe I can tailor my lesson plans with the right strategies and techniques to meet each of my students’ needs.
My work history ranges from tutoring in pre-calculus, managing and mentoring high-school students at an Art Gallery, conserving the walls of the Alamo and providing teaching assistance with a Chemistry of Art Course offered at the University. Moving here from Texas, my free time consists of exploring all that Colorado has to offer, hiking 14ers and playing the banjo.
