My drive to help students learn has always been very strong. I have offered my time and knowledge to many friends who were struggling with their courses over the years and I truly enjoyed watching them improve. After high school, I attended community college for three years then transferred to UC Davis and will be graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in June of 2016. I have experience with the semester and quarter systems and the different learning environments that each provide. I have many study tips and strategies on how to succeed in your educational endeavors, no matter what age or educational level. I understand that every student is different and there is no universal strategy to learning, which is why sitting down and getting to know each student is key to success. I want you to gain the most from this experience and to truly enjoy learning.
I have just recently applied to medical school, so have become proficient in the core sciences: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have also taken many upper division science courses: Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Physiology, and many Nutrition Science courses. I have a solid background in mathematics, including: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics. I have spent hundreds of hours preparing for the new 2015 MCAT, so I can provide insight and strategies for those of you who are interested.
I know first hand that being a student is hard. But, you do not have to embark on this alone! With a little guidance and support, I will help you reach your goals and realize that learning is truly a fun and enlightening experience. No goal is too ambitious and every personal has the ability to attain success.
