I have always had a special interest for teaching. Throughout my junior high and high school career, I partook in various activities from co-leading martial arts classes for the city of Escondido to being that one camp counselor that gets thrown in the pool. As I began college at Loyola Marymount University, my life took a turn towards the areas of math and science. Finding that I excelled in both areas my professors asked me to begin working with children from the local Playa Vista Elementary school as a part of a STEM outreach program. I have worked closely with the teachers and together we have completed several experiments: the latest being the construction of solar car models. I love working with kids and sharing my enthusiasm for learning with them. We also end up having a lot of fun.
