As a former teacher to students with special needs, I understand that education is not one size fits all. Our students are as diverse as the world around us, making it important to find equally diverse ways to support these scholars in obtaining knowledge. Whether it is a learning disability that prevents full access to in-class instruction or to the desire to further challenge one’s learning beyond the provided curriculum, practicing and applying knowledge obtained within the school day is important for students across the board. Tutoring, alongside other extra curricular activities, is a highly effective way to personalize educational experiences for learners of all ages. In my experience, it is this personalized approach to education that yields the best and most effective results in skill mastery. As a tutor, I am overjoyed to help facilitate this growth and look forward to working with students of all types in creative ways to help them realize their full potentials in the classroom so these students in turn can achieve their full potential in life.
