Hi there!

My name is Michael Dmytriw and I'm excited to work with you! My goal is to always start with what you already know and help make new concepts more interesting and fun by learning more about what drives you. When I'm not tutoring I'm also a full time teacher, a guitar player/teacher, and I love to go kayaking. I double majored in psychology and Spanish and I've taught and tutored students as a school teacher for the last 6+ years.

I believe that people are not limited by their abilities, but by their opportunities. I want to help give you the opportunities to succeed academically in school now, but to also help give you the tools to succeed for the rest of your life.

Sincerely,

Michael

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

I believe that people are not limited by their abilities, but by their opportunities.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

I want to start making long-term and short-term goals with the student. I want to get to know what interests them inside and outside of school so I can make tutoring more exciting, understandable, and rewarding.
