Even though my Bachelor's Degree is in Computer Science, I really have always wanted to be a teacher. So when an opportunity presented itself, I started tutoring mathematics and at the same time working on my teaching license and Master's Degree in Education. I have been teaching 7th through 11th grade math in a classroom setting for 9 years now, and I truly enjoy my job!
I also enjoy one-on-one tutoring. The best part of tutoring is helping students feel successful, and success is the biggest motivator! I believe that every student can succeed in math if he or she is willing to work at it and ask questions! I believe that a good tutor is the one who can connect with each student, is enthusiastic about the subject, and can present the material in a clear and concise way tailored to the specific needs of the student.
