Also it helps in developing discover newer synthetic procedures, develop novel catalysts and polymers of industrial, paint and pharmaceutical interest. These subjects are not easily understood without the basics of chemistry. Chemistry is vast and volatile! Good undergraduate and graduate education in chemistry is essential to make students understand the complexity of the subject and its associate branches which includes practical experimentation and research.
There is an enormous need in education to turn students to learning science and chemical sciences in particular. Efforts to make chemistry interesting with more understandable protocols and material of teaching chemistry is necessary.
Apart from teaching, a teacher can inspire students and researchers with the value of hard work, practice, persistence, research, consistence, innovation, teamwork, attention to detail, energy, delivery, integrity and influence community. Habit of looking beyond the clouds and passion to learn and teach can go miles in research. Technology and hiring technique has changed massively, which makes the new teaching and training methodologies essential instead of the traditional way of chalk and board lecture approach. Again this alone may not help as it is important to keep students interested!
