I currently work scientist at the NIH. I am looking to be a tutor in science and math. I have a PhD in Biochemistry with ten years' experience as a scientist.
As a high school student, I had a tutor that fostered my interest in science and is one of the reasons why I decided to take it up as a career. I was part of a group that organized tutoring and study sessions for a few classmates in college. In the course of my PhD, I also had the opportunity to tutor science to middle-school students from my church group.
I would like to contribute towards the knowledge of my students and foster interest in learning. My goal as a tutor is to provide the nurturing environment that allows students to learn and grow intellectually. I look forward to hearing back and exploring further my opportunities to tutor. Thank you for your consideration. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
