I am currently teaching reading, writing and FSA/ACT/SAT prep.
I was a Media specialist teaching student the fundamentals of reading and love of becoming life long readers. I was a professional librarian for 12 year and tutored children from ages 3 to 18 reading and writing to improve test scores and grades. I have worked with children that are gifted and those with ADHD, ASD and Autism. In my experience with tutoring, I learned that there are no set teaching methods other than relying on having patience or knowing when to challenge a student. I believe that given the tools to read, anyone can be successful at any subject. I enjoy working with all ages. I have taught computer classes to the masses from basic computer skills to video editing software. My more than 15 years of tutoring brings me experience in science, writing, resume writing, test preparation and a specialty in reading.

Being a Floridian, I enjoy fishing, canoeing, biking and loving the outdoors. My passion is being a well fed foodie and challenging myself in the kitchen with new recipes. To me, there is nothing better than family time and sharing life experiences with others.
