I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Generalist Special Education Teacher. I am currently working towards a MA in Social Work. I have spent six years in public high schools working as a teacher specifically science and math. I tutor the following subjects: ACT Science, Algebra 1, Arithmetic, English, Geometry, Math, Middle School Math, Phonics, Pre-Algebra, Public Speaking, Reading, SAT Math, and Test prep. Math is my favorite subject to tutor because I have some fun activities especially for Pythagorean Theorem. My teaching philosophy is using as many real life examples as possible to make the understanding become realistic to the student. I enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking, soccer, snowboarding, swimming, biking, and cooking.
