I graduated from Rutgers University. I have my Bachelors degree in Spanish Literature and Political Science. I have my Masters in Special Education from St. Joseph's University. I am also certified to teach Orton Gilligham. I have fifteen years of teaching experience. During this time, I have taught Pre-K to 8th grade Spanish, 5th and 6th grade Language Arts, Technology and preschool and Special Education. I have experience in tutoring middle and high school Spanish, as well as all subjects at the elementary level. In addition, I have helped many students with Study Skills and Organization. Language Arts and History are my favorite subjects to tutor because I have a passion for Literature and learning about the past. I enjoy being able to impart my passion for reading and learning to my students. I am a firm believer that learning should be fun and differentiated for each learner. I understand that not everyone learns the same and it is important to understand how my students learn best, and teach them the best study techniques for them. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and playing with my dog.
