I received my bachelor of science in ecology, behavior, and evolution from UCLA in 2011. From there, I went to study at Harvard University in the same discipline--it was there that I received most of my teacher training, i.e. worked as a teaching fellow. Every student has the potential to excel, but for whatever reason of stress or self-doubt, they do not succeed. I would like to help change student perspectives of their own mental capacity to succeed by showing them *simple*, but extremely effective, studying methods to begin mastery of any subject area. I tutor SAT/GRE test prep, as well as writing in general, biology, and French. However, my favorite subject to teach is ecology because I am passionate about environmental/ecosystem stability and would ultimately love to work in biodiversity conservation. Appropriately, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and camping. I also practice wushu--a Chinese performing martial art that is great in building core strength.
