I'm a full-time student at American University, where I am currently pursuing a B.A. in International Studies at the School of International Service. More specifically, I am interested in U.S. Foreign Policy and Security Studies. I became interested about foreign policy and international affairs when I was in high school, where I was on the high school debate team and the mock trial program. Being a debater and trial attorney for four years exposed me to a variety of eye-opening issues about the world. But perhaps the most important lesson imparted to me in my experience was my ability to teach and tutor. Throughout my tenure, I served as a student coach and peer mentor for both programs, teaching middle to high school students the fundamentals of public speaking, debate, and critical thinking strategies. While I'm comfortable tutoring a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, writing, literature, and social studies (namely World History, U.S. History, U.S. Government and Politics).
I am originally from Los Angeles, California. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (with tea!), trying new kinds of food, travel, and video games.
