I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida and a Masters of Education from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. I am certified to teach Kindergarten-6th grade in Florida, hold a reading endorsement, and am in the process of becoming certified in the same subject areas in Colorado. I have 2 years of experience teaching Kindergarten in Florida, before relocating to Colorado late last year.

I really love working one on one with students as I feel the uninterrupted time together yields better results. I like that I can dedicate my time and energy to one student, and I feel students respond better to this. While I have tutored within my certification to elementary aged children, my main passions are reading, writing and grammar, as they are my strong points.

In my free time, I love to explore Colorado and all it has to offer and am always looking for more suggestions. I love to cook and try new recipes, read, watch movies, be active outside and have recently taken up learning Spanish.
