I am a student at the University of Colorado at Denver studying to receive my Bachelor's of Science in Pure and Applied Physics. I have worked with middle and high school students in many scenarios and locations. For these past several years, I have worked in an after-school youth program at Southern Gables Church in Lakewood, Colorado providing youth development and counseling, both personal and academic. I have volunteered for high school cross country camps in Colorado aiding in the motivation young athletes, and I have also developed a passion and appreciation for the development of young students through my time volunteering in an orphanage in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua. I am driven by a passion to understand the world, and to augment the type of thinking that can observe the world and its marvels in an academic and honest way. This has led to my passion: to aid in the development of young minds, so they may be confident and honest in their ability to succeed and explore intellectual pursuits. I enjoy tutoring math and writing skills, as I believe they are fundamental to all other pursuits. In regards to extracurricular activities, I enjoy playing music, running, hiking, reading, and a good debate.
