I am a graduate of The University of Southern California. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate. Initially upon graduation I worked in Real Estate with several local banks. I currently have a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration.
My experience in education entails instructing students in the area of chemistry, algebra, geometry, health, English and physical education. I have tutored in after school programs both public and private primarily in the areas of math and science as well as helping students pass and overcome their fears of the California High School Exit Exam mathematic section. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations within the cities of Los Angeles and New York. My experience also entails working as an Adult Ed teacher where I have instructed Algebra and ESL to mostly immigrant populations within Los Angeles.
As you can see I have a diverse portfolio of subject matter, but I am most passionate about helping students in the area of mathematics and science. I believe that I am most successful in helping students who may not grasp concepts by delivering the information in a fun, friendly, basic format where I frequently infuse real-life examples to facilitate understanding.
