I am a freshman at the University of Colorado - Boulder, in my second semester, studying aerospace engineering with a minor in computer science. Throughout my high school career, I privately tutored students ranging from middle school to high school in subjects such as math, Spanish, and the sciences. I currently tutor in math and Spanish, which are also my favorite subjects to tutor. I love working in these subjects because they rewire the brain to think and see the world in new ways. Just seeing this process in action amazes me and inspires me to learn and expand my mind even more. This way of thinking is what I work towards inspiring in the students I tutor. I want to show them that through hard work and curiosity, they can accomplish academic goals, or any goal for that matter, that they never imagined achieving previously. Being relatively close to my tutees in age, I always bring a sense of good humor and fun to sessions to connect with the students and inspire in them a sense of curiosity and interest. In my free time, I love traveling, learning languages, playing video games, practicing sports such as volleyball and horseback riding, and trying new things.
