I am a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. I received my Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, with an emphasis on immunology, and also a minor degree in French language. I tutor in a wide range of topics mostly in the sciences, however I am most passionate about tutoring in Biology and in French. I have experience working with kids from being an assistant director at the Young Actors' Workshop, where I managed groups of kids grades 2-8 and helped them prepare for productions of "Charlotte's Web" and "The Wizard of Oz";. I have also shadowed a pediatrician for a summer, so I know how to speak with kids in sensitive situations and to be sympathetic towards their needs. I firmly believe that the best way to learn a topic is through repeated practice, and I apply this with my students by having us spend as much time applying the learned material as we do actually learning the material. In my spare time I enjoy swimming, going to parks to take pictures, hiking and exploring new parts of the city."
