I am a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I received my Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems, Environment & Society, and also attained a minor in History. Subjects of focus in my undergraduate academic career included Earth Sciences, Ecology, Biology, and Environmental Science. After graduating, I made the decision to attend law school at the University of Oregon School of Law in Eugene, Oregon, where I graduated in May of 2013. I received a certificate in Environmental & Natural Resources Law, and worked for several law firms and environmental non-profit organizations throughout law school and in my post-graduate career. As a law student, I took on leadership roles in several student organizations, including Land Air Water (the environmental law student organization), and the Journal of Environmental Law & Litigation. Within these roles, I assisted younger classmates with editing proficiency and served as a tutor for many law classes. As a career academic, education is very important to me as it has played a central role in my life. I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students, and strive to be as positive and congenial as possible when tutoring students. Subjects that I tutor include LSAT and ACT prep, Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, and Earth Sciences. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and backpacking in the Pacific Northwest, cycling, yoga, rock climbing, and going to concerts.
